Fusion
Romain Jerome has adorned the timepieces in its Titanic-DNA collection with rust, the inestimable value of which is derived from the source of its legendary DNA: the Titanic.
The extraordinary fusion between the authentic steel from the wreck of the Titanic and that supplied by the Harland & Wolff shipyards in Belfast, where the liner was built, was carried out by a foundry in Liverpool, DG Merseyside Castings.
Two metals separated by a century of time and an ocean of history, brought together by the commitment of a watchmaking company and the skills of a handful of specialists. Several tons of the precious metal bearing the seal of the Harland & Wolff shipyards have been certified by a deed drawn up by a notary.
